With her unstayed “wishbone” rig, this very special ketch is designed for – and has completed – long ocean passages. A true blue water yacht, she has taken the present owner from home to the Azores, the Caribbean, the East coast of the United States and back again.
She is ideal for sailing short handed or with an inexperienced crew, she has a good turn of speed off the wind, especially with her cruising chute set on the mizzen.
For a heavy displacement, long keeled yacht she draws as little as 4 feet with the centreboard up, enabling her to visit many places where other yachts of similar size dare not venture.
She has a massive inventory including heavy weather sails, cruising chute and mizzen staysail, and all the essential electronics for long distance cruising.
